An 8-page commercial supplement for LEGO World Play Day, created for Metro and delivered from concept through to final execution.

Working with LEGO’s global brand guidelines, the pages were designed using a mix of client-supplied assets, sourced imagery and bespoke editorial elements, with a strong focus on energy, disruption and playfulness. The content brought World Play Day’s core message — Today We Play! — to life, encouraging readers of all ages to pause, engage and rediscover the power of play.

Alongside bold visual storytelling, the execution included custom-designed puzzles and interactive moments, extending engagement beyond passive reading and reinforcing LEGO’s belief that play fuels creativity, wellbeing and imagination.

The final piece translated a global, multi-channel campaign into a high-impact, playful print experience, tailored specifically for a daily newspaper audience.
