Working within a fast-paced newsroom environment, pages were often designed to tight deadlines, requiring speed, precision and adaptability. Editorial layouts needed to be reworked across multiple regional editions, with content adjusted to accommodate location-specific advertising and varying page structures nationwide.

The role demanded strong typographic judgement and layout problem-solving, ensuring editorial content remained clear, engaging and well-paced while integrating complex ad shapes seamlessly. Each page balanced consistency with flexibility, maintaining Metro’s visual identity while responding to the practical constraints of daily newspaper production.
