A commercial partnership with B&Q Bathrooms, created to support the launch of the brand’s new bathroom range and increase consideration within the category through high-visibility, design-led print content.

The flagship execution was a five-page reverse cover wrap of YOU Magazine titled The Big Bathroom Special. Designed as a destination feature, the wrap immersed readers in B&Q’s bathroom offering, combining aspirational room sets with clear product call-outs to showcase style, quality and range. The format allowed for extended storytelling, positioning B&Q as a confident and credible choice for full bathroom projects rather than individual purchases.

Supporting content ran in Metro newspaper, including full sponsorship of the Property & Home feature. Editorial layouts were developed to sit cohesively alongside display advertising and advertorial placements, ensuring a consistent visual language across all touchpoints. The design balanced inspiration with practicality, guiding readers through ideas while reinforcing B&Q’s end-to-end support offering, from design to fitting.

Across both titles, the visual approach was bold and contemporary, with strong imagery, structured layouts and clear hierarchy to help readers navigate complex renovation content with ease. Working within a fast-paced commercial environment, the project required close alignment between editorial, advertising and brand objectives, delivering a cohesive presence that elevated B&Q’s bathroom range and reinforced the brand as a go-to destination for home improvers.
